Outdoor Newborn Session – London Newborn Photography

This beautiful family traveled almost 2 hours all the way down from Birmingham for their newborn photography session in London with a toddler and 2 week old baby girl in tow! As I am very aware myself, two hours in a car with little ones under the age of three is no small feat, but amazingly both of these little girls were angels during the entire session. This baby’s big sister was so kind, sweet, and caring with her I have no doubts these two are going to grow up and be best of friends.

I don’t do many newborn photography sessions outdoors because the weather here in London can be so iffy but we happened to get a beautifully warm and sunny day to spend outside in the park. I love the vibrancy that the outdoor colors bring to the images–it’s quite a contrast to the more neutral and quiet tones you generally get when shooting in a clients home!

I would love to do another newborn session outdoors now that the trees are beginning to change color. I’m envisioning a sweet little thing all snug and cocooned up in some knit baby items surrounded by some fallen foliage–wouldn’t that be sweet?!.
