Family & Children Photography

I once read somewhere that when people try to save material possessions from a burning house, the most common thing they take are family photographs and albums. As a London Family photographer, but more importantly as a wife and a mom–I can certainly understand why. It seems like almost on a weekly (if not daily) basis when I am savoring time with my husband and children this precise thought pops into my head: “I am going to remember this moment perfectly forever”. Of course a week goes by, then a month and a year, and as time passes while I remember having had the thought, I can’t quite recall what it was about. And eventually as time fades, the memory fades along with it.

My goal in my family photography sessions is to capture the magic of these moments for your family so you have the memories to hold on to forever. It’s amazing how just one family photo can have the powerful ability to take us back to those moments– the smell of someone baking, the lovely sound of a child’s laugh, or a chilly breeze during a snowball fight. And while the value the images will have in preserving your own memories is already great, the images will also become cherished mementos for generations–adding color to stories told for many years to come.

I go out of my way to make sure your family photo session is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. We will laugh, skip, jump, and play our way through the family photo session and it will be a time for your family to connect with one another and do what you all enjoy doing.
