Chelsea Engagement Photos

Despite the fact that I live in a very pretty area of central London, I rarely shoot engagement sessions in my neighborhood because so many of my couples opt for locations that focus more on nature and open scenery. It was really fun to do something a little different for this couple’s engagement photos–when they contacted me they were very clear that they weren’t interested in the leafy parks or fields of flowers– they wanted their engagement photos in an urban environment, on the streets where they met, had their first date, and ultimately where they fell in love. The red brick architecture in Knightsbridge and the colorful cobblestone of Chelsea were such interesting backdrops to work in and reflected perfectly the cool and chic personality of the couple. Am so looking forward to photographing their wedding next year in France where will also definitely be able to get more ‘scenic’ surroundings as well! :)
